Make Some Memories

I know that most of the time you guys spend your days living and thinking about what’s here and now. You might dream about the future, but you don’t spend too much time analyzing what your future will be like(Cuz the only thing you do is playing video games). Let me take you on a short trip into your future…

In the next couple of years (or later) some of you will be at your new jobs, some will be off to college, some will be in the service, and some may still be trying to find your way in life(still playing video games). No matter where you are at, at some point in the future you will run into someone who is here at tonight’s game, whether it is a fan, a hater, a teammate, or even a member of the other team. No matter who it is, you will share a moment in the future with someone and they will bring up tonight’s game.

The question is: What causes them to bring up tonight’s game? What did you do tonight to cause them to remember tonight’s game? What memory did you create tonight that lasted thru years of time in this person’s mind? Was it the game winning score? Was it a Swampwall tackle? Was it a great save by Goatlender? Was it zig-zag goal by CraigChrizt? A slapshot from Terasniska, a great pass by Foppa or a hattrick by Anton?! Think about it! What will you do tonight that will cause someone in your future to remember????

I know what I want people to remember, and that is HOW Unknown proved the haters wrong, how we won our second title in our second tournament here on the xbox-side. How people said the first year, and even our second “They have a bad roster, they have bad defenders, they can’t score goals” – and how we proved them wrong with a good teamplay, as a strong unit.

And if we lose, it’s okey – we still reached the final, when our haters didn’t.

The time has come to go out there and make some great memories for yourself and for your team! Don’t know what will happen with Unknown in the future, but I know one thing – I want to win this “FAR TO LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG” (and sometimes boring) Tournament, Let’s go for it!

Here we go again

Gentlemen, today we are the underdogs! Our haters are predicting us to lose. The fans have their doubts. Some of the players in this community have doubts about tonight’s game. But, we are here to tell you that it doesn’t matter what everyone else thinks. What does matter is how well you play the game and WHO’s on top when the game ends!

Let us tell you the story of the ‘Miracle on Ice.” Some of you may be familiar with this story. Back in 1980 the US Olympic Men’s Hockey Team pulled off one of the biggest upsets in sports history. They were the underdogs and they captured the gold medals. They were a group of unknown college kids and amateurs who came together as one unit and upset a heavily favored team of Russian professionals.

Their coach, Herb Brooks, told them before the match that if they played the Russians ten times, they might lose nine out of ten, but they weren’t going to lose that one! He said “…One game. If we played ’em ten times, they might win nine. But not this game. Not tonight. Tonight, we skate with them. Tonight, we stay with them. And we shut them down because we can!…” That day’s game was going to be the one-in-ten that they win. Why? Because they can

It has happened many times in history, ever since David defeated Goliath. The underdog can win! Why? Because they can! Nothing in life is guaranteed. Northern Stars aren’t guaranteed a win tonight, tomorrow or on thursday . The favorite team doesn’t always win. When they relax, when they let their guard down, when they take you for granted, and when you out-play them – they will be defeated! Because they can! And, we did it last year. So . . . In the infamous words of coach Herb Brooks, “This is our time! Let’s do it again!

Herro?!?! Although I may be a little…..Early with this, I want to do one…for myself. My ‘predictions’ will come true, b/c what I say is usually the truth, just ask Foppatofflan.

(1) Northern Stars – (16) Northern Spirit
4-0
* Northern Spirit got nothing to say in this matchup. NOS got a Great C, Great Rw + a great defense. But OODAP? Dunno .. Four straight wins anyway!

(2) HC SIKA – (15) Northern Ascendancy
4-1

* HC IMOSI, SILENTTIO, DARKKI87 + BLEJDI – MAZZZAAAAAAKRE! I’m impressed of Northern Ascendandy, But Northern Ascendancy will have a hard time with Sikas pummeling defense ( ala Kirby C-’.’Q) ) Is this SIKA’s Year?!
Silenttio – best defender in this game?! can be . . . can be . . . !!

(3) UNKNOWN – (14) HC Redballs
4-2
Voi voi voi, HC Redballs . . I’m scared, and we will need a medic + a hospital!  But…yeah, we’ll win this. I Hope . . . I guess . .
watch out for Lennu32 – 292 hits in regular season, Fantastic! 

Best goatlender EU?! Foppatoffla with a Tough guy (33 hits against Orphans)?! CraigChrizt without delay?! we will see, we will see!

4-3 (3-4) (!)

* The big question is: Will Isindar play?! And the second big question is – Will HALIGAX play?! Everyone knows what Isindar can do, and everyone (from PS3) Knows what Haligax and Supremski can do together (Together, best defense in this game – Our, they WOULD be..) 
Smutto, Alfie and Pzu – spinoooooramaz, Bolts Jr (Laser lite with the speed) a fantastic formation. But I believe in Espoo, I think this will be a 7 game serie – Supremski needs to be “old Supremski” – Cuz  this will be a war! Tightest series in the first round, it will come down to 1 goal in overtime, ill promise you!

(5) Laser HT – (12) Redlight Zone
4-2
An Icecold Laser against Redlight Zone, interesting. . No Pumaz?! Hansulinho “the gr8” in net?! Seppooooooooooooo (ox44) alone with Hittihermanhunter and  Ullaaaaa (ax31)?! They will fix this, but neeevah 4 straight wins.

(6) Blades Of Steel – (11) Finnish Roosters
4-2 (3-4) (!?)
Tbnannti, Jimi, Slaivone, maick82, Eyebiz – Great players! And BiiAiiDii on the bench?! wow.. But the goalies?! Stormspeed (77,33 % in BOS, 67,42 % in StS) and OVeiKKoO (79.39 %) Can they handle it?! Finnish Roosters now with KOodi – awesome! I belive in BOS, but I don’t know . . or . . ?!

(7) Orphans – (10) TicoTico

TicoTico without Radikal, naaaaaaaah. Will Orphans play with Willi – Pairii – Savela ?! if so —-> Dangerouzzzzzzz! I don’t belive in “TUK MIIKA” on C, they need him on RD – Maybe the best RD of all time on PS3, but this were a few years ago, AND this is XBOX – But if u ask him, he is still “old miika” – prove it!
This will be a mazzakre, I just feel it.

(8) Suomi Preds – (9) Ducktales BK

DBK without Goatlender and eeskay isn’t the same DBK, but still a good team. Key players in Mattias0805 and “that guy who will play G”.
Suomi Preds?! Hanssonni and SleepyHollow94, great players. 2 players that have improved their game this year, dangerous together.
BUT . . . ?! The big question is  – – – WILL DINELITEN PUSH THE SPEEDLAG-BUTTON?! If so, 2-4!

The Tale of Soopah McBoogerballs (Radikal, Vicieux)

It all started with a girl. A very common thing you might say, but this is very important to the story that follows. Soopah had always considered himself to be a “ladies man”, til the day that he got stood up by the girl from the local burger joint. This experience changed him completely, and he never visited the place again. This made him bunker up at home, only to move when he had to reach for the phone to order food, or pick up the controller from the floor.

The virtuell world became his nesting ground, and he quickly find himself at home in the Playstation community as a troll that nobody liked. He therefore went on to play on the Xbox 360, a chance for him to redeem himself and set things right from the start. He did not succeed, and it didnt take long til he had to change his GT and get banned from the tournament that was going on at the time. His legacy was set; he would never be a likeable person or someone that people talked fondly about.

This brings us to now. Soopah had a shaky start of the ‘year’. He has frequantly tried to join Unknown, and he almost took to desperate measures to join Laser HT. Unknown have always had a place in Soopahs heart. He wants to be here so much, but it reminds him of the girl at the burger joint – they stood him up. Soopahs mind grew darker and darker, and now Unknown is like a thorn, stuck firmly in his heart.

Now he plays in the finnish team Tico tico (happy ending!…had to say it) and thats the ideal place for him to be, considering communication is’nt his strong suit. Having played with Soopah and others that played with him, his verbal outbreaks is fast becoming legend. Now its just his neighboors that gets to live with his rage issues.

Is there still hope for Soopah, and will he ever get the girl from the local burger joint? WHO knows….

1. Laser HT
They’ve gone bonkers. Everything about them is kewl now. Everything. The like..own. They can score, they can pass, they can whore and they can razzmatääs!
Key players: Pelle3000. Why? B/c he left the team thats why!!!!!

2. NOS
Added some new players to their core of predictable young teenagers, making them a scarier bunch than before. Their new star player, ‘Marcus60’, is rumoured to take Floorbandys spot on LD. Will they retake the throne of Gondor? Pfft, more like the Lonely Mountain…
Key players: Chiimeeras new pair of skis. Nothing more needs to be said.

3. Blades of steel
I’ve got no idea what this team stands for. Gay rights? Obama? Legal drugs?… Maybe BOS stands for…: “Boys of Sisters? You see, I have no idea. But better than some. Apples. Lu lu lu. Naw, theyve got some solid players. I like Eyebiz, hes the bizzzznezzz.
Key: Tbnannti. Some say that hes better than Kribba. Thats a lie. Hes better than Pairi, though.

4. HC Sika
“The ugly pigs” are ready to take on the world!…with their mouths! I heard Darkki sing once. I was mesmerized. His voice + Bedes offsides skills will be lethal on the powerplay!
Key: Imosi. What can I say? Hes cudly, fluffy and sweet. The only downside is that hes finnish.

5. Unknown
We rank ourselves at 5 only b/c we want to send a message out that we’re humble and “swedish”. In reality we think that we’re the best team ever created, just like you do with your teams!
Key: Kribba. The annual winner of ‘NHL-SM’ has been the best player for Unknown this season. His smooth skating, his stick handling, and his poise in net, grants him the title of ‘Grandmeister’ here.

6. Birka
The old ‘Solid’ will perform as ‘Solid’ did last season. Solid. Nothing more. Please use this quote when they finish 1 point over the “playoff line”. Please?
Key: Faran, robhaf, koffein. Or rather, their entire squad. Ive never even met these guys. Who are they playing with???

7. Orphans
A team consisting of a few free agents who had no home in the final days before the registration came to a close. From what Ive heard from a lot of people, they lack finish and grit, and rely solemly on their goaltender. Sometimes they manage to score through a glitch, but that rarely happends.
Key: The goalie. I have no idea who he is or if hes any good, but I hope, for their sake, that he is. They need him to be.

8. Still standing
Ogge! An electric soul for an eletric team? Nay, they are not! They do have, however, a chance to reach the playoffs and get eleminated the next day!
key: Kenu. That dude’s ggot some maaad skillz.

9. Espoo Chiefs
Who are they? That name…have got to be the worst in the whole competition. Seriously. Who came up with the name!?!?! “Hen” should be in jail.
Key: ?

10. Natural Born Chillers
A team consisting of some rough and tough Ontario boys, playing the way ‘the game’ was meant to be played!
key: Tarantino och Jaiken. I like this offensive pair very much. These two wingers compliment each other perfectly.

On the outside looking in:
Synergy
A tight group (how tight….excatly….are they..) of workers from the outskirts of Belgium form a squad that never draws the longest straw, making them fall on my list. When will they start acting like the PS3 champions they once were? In 2089?!?!? Solid group of forwards, but do they lack a real star? Time to step up! SOMEONE!
Key: If ‘Mordarelefanten’ starts to play good, they will have a chance. Supremski shouldnt get any spotlight over him.
